The Blue Pools is a Murrieta-based pool service founded and led by Michael Setterington. We've built it deliberately small and deliberately local — a tight Riverside County route, the same Blue Pools team showing up the same day every week, and real relationships with every pool on the list.
Why Michael built it this way.
Michael started servicing pools in Murrieta because the local industry had a problem he couldn't unsee. Pools were being passed between companies that didn't talk to each other. Chemistry was dialed in once, then forgotten. Repairs were being upsold because nobody had taken the time to actually diagnose what was wrong. He'd hear the same story from every new client: "I've been through three pool services in the last five years."
So he built The Blue Pools deliberately small. A tight crew. Defined routes. Every pool gets the same tech every week, on the same day. The chemistry log is continuous. The equipment history is in one place. When something needs repair, the person who diagnoses it is the same person who knew the pool last week — which means we catch problems earlier and quote them honestly.
Michael is CPO-certified (Certified Pool Operator), personally trains every tech on the team, and operates under The Blue Pools LLC. We cap each route on purpose — when it's full, it's full, and the next opening waits. That's how same-day-each-week works in practice, not just in marketing copy.
Five things we won't compromise on.

Same team, same day, every week.
The relationship is the service. Continuity of chemistry, of equipment history, of trust — all of it depends on the same tech being there. We cap each route to protect this.

No subcontracting.
If we sell it, we do it. Repairs, recovery, leak detection, acid wash — all by us. If we can't do something, we say so and refer you out. We don't middleman work.

Honest repair quotes.
We diagnose the actual problem before we quote it. Sometimes a $40 seal kit fixes what someone else quoted as a $1,800 pump replacement. We'd rather tell you the truth and keep the relationship.

Digital log of every visit.
Every chemistry reading, every cleaning task, every observation — logged and sent to you the same day. You see what was done without being home. No guessing, no "trust me bro."

Month-to-month, no lock-in.
If we're not the right fit, leave any time. Two weeks' notice and we'll bridge the chemistry log to whoever's next. We earn the relationship every month or we don't keep it.
